On our tour package, the itinerary will usually start from and finish in the capital city of East Java, Surabaya. But it depends on your flight, train arrival schedule, or hotel. Let’s directly get to the itinerary.
After preparing the driver will pick you up to Ijen Crater start from the hotel. It takes 6 hours drive. The driver will stop at Ijen Crater parking lot named Paltuding.
Upon your arrival at Paltuding, you can start trekking and go upclose to Ijen Crater rim. Local people that is familiar to the trekking route will guide and accompany you. It takes between 1-2 hours walking.
You can do a photography at the top of Ijen Crater rim. It will be unforgettable experience due to its landscape such blue fire, green acid, and local miners activities.
After enjoying the Ijen Crater landscape, the driver will bring you to the hotel near Mount Ijen or directly return to Bromo. It is 6 hours drive away. You can stop for having lunch during the long trip. The driver will take you to the recommended restaurant where travelers most stop.
Get back to your hotel and stay a night to relax your mind and body.
While arrive at Mount Penanjakan parking lot, you can start hiking about 15 minutes. The sun will rise arround 04.30 am. You can do a photography or just take a selfie with Bromo landscape. From this place you will see the sea of sand, Mount Batok, Mount Semeru, and ofcourse the Mount Bromo stand magnificently.
Once you’re done seeing the sunrise, go back to the Penanjakan parking lot. The jeep driver will take you to the sea of sand with some extreme experience. The 4 WD jeep will stop at parking area beside the Pura Luhur Poten that is the place for Mount Bromo’s people pray. You can go upclose to Mount Bromo crater rim. There are two option to reach the crater which is by walking or horse riding.
Comeback to your jeep and have breakfast in the hotel where you stay at night. Take shower and relax your body for a while. And check out from the hotel after packing.
Enjoy the Madakaripura waterfall about 1-2 house before coming bacak to the private car or van.

Day 1 : Surabaya / Malang / Banyuwangi Meeting Point
On this package, a friendly driver will catch you in the airport, train station, or bus station by a private car or van. The driver will firstly bring you to cozy hotel or homestay in Cemoro Lawang which is the entry gate to Mt Bromo. It is 3 – 3.5 hours drive. Day 2 : Ijen Crater Tour
You must wake up early in the morning about 02.30 am. You will prepare your bucket list, take a shower, and have breakfast.After preparing the driver will pick you up to Ijen Crater start from the hotel. It takes 6 hours drive. The driver will stop at Ijen Crater parking lot named Paltuding.
