Bromountain.com – Our  4 days in this post will invite you to explore some places in the East Java like Mount Bromo, Baluran National Park, and Ijen Crater. Bromo will represent its beautiful sunrise. Ijen crater will show the rare phenomenon, blue fire / flame and Baluran as a representative from wild adventure.
There are several option to start this tour package which are start from Surabaya, Malang, Banyuwangi, or Probolinggo. Our friendly driver will pick you up in those places and drop you off in those places as well. For dropping off, you can request to our driver as long as the location is possible.
The three places are well known as tough. Please prepare everything such like jacket, gloves, trekking shoes, hat, flashlight if possible, and or trekking pole.

Mount Bromo, Baluran National Park, and Ijen Crater Tour Package 4 Days

Baluran National Park in Banyuwangi

Day 1 : Arrival in Surabay City

When you already arrived at airport, train station, bus station or stayed a night at hotel in Surabay city, you will meet our driver. He will take you to Cemoro Lawang which is the entrance to Mount Bromo. It takes 3 – 4 hours drive with private car like Avanza or Xenia.
At Cemoro Lawang you will stay a night and get relaxed. If you are lucky and arrive at hotel earlier you can enjoy the sun sets in Mount Bromo from Mentingen Hill.

Day 2 : Mount Bromo Sunrise

You must get yourself out from bed if you want to enjoy the sunrise tour in Bromo. Around 02.30 in the morning. The weather outside is extremely cold, but you must wake up and start the tour. A 4 WD jeep will pick you up from the hotel toward Mount Penanjakan view point.
From the view point on Mount Penanjakan, you can witness the post picture card sunrise on Mount Bromo. Beside you can akso see a massive whispery sand, gigant crater rim of Bromo, Mount Batok and Mount Semeru.
Once you have finished enjoying the sun rises, return to your jeep and visit the Mount Bromo crater. The 4 WD jeep will take you drive across the whispery sea sands. Our driver will park the jeep near Pura Luhur Poten.

From Pura Luhur Poten, you can start hiking and reach the bromo crater rim. It takes thirty minutes. Other option to reach the crater is to use ride horse. But you must pay about 50 – 100 thousands rupiah. Pay the horse ride after coming back to Pura.
After finishing Mount Bromo tour, you will directly be driven to homestay around Baluran National Park. It is a really long 5 hours drive. Take a good rest in our private car. Along the way heading to homestay in Baluran, you can ask the driver to stop for lunch. Ofcourse he will stop in our recommended restaurant.

Day 3 : Baluran National Park

Baluran National Park is a evergreen nature. In here, you can feel the fresh air in the early morning. You will be accompanied with our partner enjoying the wild life in Baluran. Baluran offers a wild life such typical brown monkey, javanicus ox (banteng jawa), cervus timorensis rusa (rusa), panthera pardus melas (macan tutul), tragulus javanicus pelandoc (kancil) and any others.
Once your tour finished, you will be carried on to Bama Beach. It takes twenty minutes from Baluran National Park then continueing to homestay in Ijen crater. You will stay for one night in the homestay.

Day 4 : Ijen Crater

Again you have to wake up in the earlier morning about 01.00 am. You will be taken to Paltuding for two hours. Paltuding is a rest area and parking lot in Ijen crater.
In Ijen crater you will see an amazing blue fire, wonderful green sulfuric acid lake landscape, upclose to Mount Ijen crater rim, and seing local miners haul the sulfur. However you must go trekking to see all of them. It is two hours trekking and local people will guide you as well.
In case of you want to see blue fame in Ijen Crater, you must start the tour from hotel around 23.00 pm – 00.00 am. It is only appeared around 01.00 – 02.00 am in the morning. Such a tough tour, but it is worth!
When you are done with Ijen Crater tour, you must return to homestay. Have a good lunch and take a shower. Afterwards check out from the homestay and our driver will drop you off in Banyuwangi Ketapang harbour or Surabaya airport. You can request it to our driver. If you want to arrange your holiday in Bali, the best option is to be dropped off in Ketapang harbour.
